Dies Service
Dies are the central part of the aluminium extrusion process: perfectly made dies are an essential requirement for the production of very high quality profiles. The process starts with the customer's submission of a technical drawing, which is then analysed and studied in detail to assess feasibility in liaison with world leading die maker Phoenix International.

We use ascona profile measuring technology to guarantee dimensional differences with a delta of less than 0.2 hundredths of a millimetre, assuring the maximum precision. After the customer's final approval, the die is subjected to nitriding treatment to increase surface hardness and durability; the die is now ready extrusion operations.
On finishing the extrusion process, each die is cleaned with caustic soda and then polished to a mirror finish to ensure the maximum efficiency for future uses. The dies are then stored in our Mariano del Friuli and Porzano di Leno warehouses, where we hold a stock of more than 4,000 tools, all of which ready for re-use.
